From forty trucks to six borders
“Adaeze Okonkwo on why the hardest part of scaling a logistics company was not the trucks, but the trust.”

When Adaeze Okonkwo joined Meridian, the company's entire dispatch system lived in one notebook kept by a man named Sule.
Her first decision was not to replace the notebook. It was to sit next to Sule for three weeks and learn why every line in it existed.
Trust before software
Every border crossing is a negotiation, she says. Software can track the truck; it cannot earn the customs officer's confidence.
Meridian now runs on a dispatch platform, but every regional lead still keeps a notebook. It is the one rule she will not change.
Scale is just trust, repeated at a distance.
